NDIR<sub>flex<\/sub> measuring bench with modular design for different cuvette lengths.<br \/>The measured values should be accessed via a CAN or rather a serial RS232 communication protocol. Furthermore, it should also be realized a heated cuvette and a Peltier cooling for the thermopile receiver. About a further measuring input, an electrochemical O<sub>2<\/sub> sensor should be evaluated additionally. A further requirement was to determine the flow of the gas to be measured and a pressure or temperature compensation of the measured values.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div The challenge here was to achieve an\nenormously high dynamic range with measuring ranges between 0-100 ppm and 0-3000 ppm. The detection\nlimit was to be only a few parts-per-billion. Another challenge was to minimize the falsification of the\nmeasurement signal by interfering components, such as water and carbon dioxide.
