As part of an innovative development project, a multisensor system for room and building control was implemented. The aim was to create a solution that goes far beyond traditional, rigid control systems. The combination of intelligent sensor technology, a flexible control unit, and AI-based control strategies was intended to create an environment that dynamically adapts to lighting conditions, temperature, shading, and user behavior.
Particular attention was paid to energy efficiency: only the resources that are actually needed are used, while at the same time comfort for users is noticeably increased. The challenge was to combine different sensors and actuators in a system that is scalable, robust, and open for future expansion.
