The project objective was the development of a HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) for operating and display purposes of different plants. In order to ensure ease of use with high-quality graphics, an APP-capable operating system based on Android (Linux is also possible) was developed, which is quickly adapted to the corporate design of the customer in every detail. Depending on the requirements, the screen is available for operation both as resistive and capacitive touch screen in different sizes e.g. 7″, 10.4″, 12.1″ or even 15″. In the smaller 7″ version, the display can be mounted directly above the electronic module (sandwich construction) and can thus be installed as a display module in a target device or control cabinet to save space. For communication with peripherals, various interfaces (CAN, LAN, USB, RS-232 etc.) are available. External visualization devices can also be connected via an HDMI interface. Acoustic signals can be output via a jack output to loudspeakers or headphones.
