Pit safety (PL) for roller test benches

The KNESTEL pit safety system ensures optimum monitoring of the danger zone. The sensor packages are available in different packages to suit every test stand. Safe use under harsh workshop conditions has been tried and tested over many years. The pit safety device consists of a GSQ safety module and sensor modules arranged in pairs on the pit wall. The transverse radiation ensures optimum inspection of the danger zone. The pit remains fully usable outside the safeguarding area and only objects > 250 mm are triggered due to obstacle suppression. The control unit fulfills performance level (PL) d in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849-1, which is particularly advantageous for pull-down devices and measuring lines on the vehicle.
